CrossFit YouAct is searching for two part-time trainers
As a CrossFit trainer at CrossFit YouAct you will give individual and group lessons to a maximum of 10 members. Aside from the regular CrossFit Workout of the Day (WOD) you will also give specialty classes in Olympic lifting, Strongman and Endurance. There is certainly room for you to bring in your own expertise!
In addition to the regular schedule, members are happy to get to know you during one of the many workshops, competitions and social activities we organize.
Who is CrossFit YouAct?
We (Frouke Oonk and Nathan Goossens) are the owners of CrossFit YouAct. Both of us have approximately six years experience with CrossFit. Outside of CrossFit we have both achieved an elite competitive level in our sports; Frouke in speedskating and Nathan in karate. Together we give more than 50 hours of CrossFit lessons per week and we plan to extend our current lesson roster and Box. Since we would also like to lay on the beach someday, we are searching for two commited trainers!
We focus mainly on people who are commited to good health and are willing to work for it. No motivation for lack of motivation! From both sides a long-term relationship is the approach. Our members find us involved, accessible and skilled. We are always critical of our method and not easily influenced by trends. Take a look at our website, Facebook and Instagram.
CrossFit Level 1, preferably Level 2
HBO or university education or level of thinking, preferably in physiology/kinesiology
Social, involved and able to motivate others
A good sense of humor
Preferably experienced in giving sport lessons or CrossFit
As a company and as trainers we are continuously developing. You are part of this development because we consider your opinion and input important. We are also commited to stimulating and developing you as a trainer. We will share our knowledge with you and there are opportunities for financial support to follow courses and further your education.
Do you want to focus on a career as a CrossFit trainer? Starting December 1st, you will be contracted for 9 to 16 hours per week spread over a minimum of three days. You will mainly give lessons in the evening hours (19:00-22:00) in the week and one morning in the weekend. In addition, we ask flixibilty to fill-in for the sick-days and vacations of your colleagues.
The CrossFit lessons are in our CrossFit Box on the Kanaaldijk Noord 17, in Eindhoven. The Box is easily accessable with private and public trasportation and is only a 10 minutes bike ride from the Eindhoven train station. The Box will be expanding and is expected, from December 1st, to have two full-fledged CrossFit training rooms and an enclosed outdoor area.
